Anti Atlas #6 / 2013 / 1080p video file /
9'34" looped (excerpt)
This animation is produced from photographic information captured in the Anti Atlas plain in Morocco. Using a form of spherical photography which is common to special effects practice I have ‘re-filmed’ the environment inside the computer. The camera performs a full 360o rotation whilst tilting from side to side; up and down. A piece of glass placed in front of the camera goes through a similar set of movements which are at odds with the frame of the camera. This causes a flattening of the space into a constantly shifting composition. All key-frames come full circle making the loop temporally and spatially seamless.
